Hooked at the Roundup!

I have listened to Ty1295 Jeff talk about this community for a couple years now and when he offered up the chance to attend the Roundup, I had to be there. I met a great bunch of guys and learned some things about a skill I have always wanted but never really knew where to start.

So, not knowing exactly what info I need to include here I will just leave it at the following:
My name is Mike, I hammered out my first panel at age 16 on a VW Beetle, and built my first panel on a 72 fury....fender skirts, and there was more kitty hair than sheet metal. But it was the only way I knew how, and my skills haven't gotten much better since. Hopefully with a little guidance and some advice from this board, that will all change.

Welcome to AllMetalShaping Mike. It was good to spend some time with you and Jeffery at Will's.

HI Mike

Nice to meet you, glad to here you are hooked. Enjoyed working with you and Jeffery. Looks like you have got the concepts down, now lots of practice to build up the skill set.

Steve

Mike, it was a pleasure to have you in attendance. Any friend for Jeff is a friend of mine and either of you are welcome at any time. I am happy that you enjoyed yourself, and I am looking forward to seeing Jeff ( and you?) again at the Rockingham motorcycle event. Welcome to Allmetalshaping.

Mike and I joke we have been friends longer than either of us has been with a single women. Probably tell each other too many things also.

Now I just gotta get Mike to not buy bondo in the gallon jugs.

I want to know if I get an extra cookie or ice cream at the next event for getting someone hooked.

Not only will we get you extra ice cream and home made cookies, you can be in charge of checking the boats for copperhead snakes. :D

It seems that 1000 pounds of humans is afraid of a 10 pound snake.:lol:

I promise to be good at ice cream and cookie part of the task. The snake part of things I am not so sure I will be your man.
