Hello from Michigan
 

I am a metal fabricator, have been all my life. My family is in the metal fab business and I have worked in all aspects of fabrication. I was an Iron worker in Chicago for about 15 years and then I opened my own chassis shop building Drag cars and some street rods. Then I moved to northern Michigan and my son and I opened a fab shop. I want to learn more about metal shaping. I have an English wheel,Plannishing hamer, bead roller etc.. I just picked up a Trumpf cn900 and started building a few dies and square shank adapters for it with our waterjet. I would like to become a member to learn more about using the Trumpf and doing more complex shaping, I would like to build my own roadster body.

I live in Boyne Falls but our shop is in Gaylord. Andy I like your roadster, My shop was Wizbang Chassis in Manhattan Illinois, It was a small one man shop sometimes 2 man , I used to build lots of door cars, Pro mods,Outlaw super stocks, Bracket cars and a few slingshots.

What's the name of your new shop. I go to Gaylord every couple of months. Would like to stop by and say hi.
