another noobie!

I joined a while back and never introduced myself so I thought it was time.
My name is Clyde Spangle aka coupeman36, originally from the very northeast corner of Indiana and now residing in Valdosta, GA.
I was born and raised my first 42 years about 25 miles from Auburn, IN home of Auburn Automobiles and the Kruse auctions, my was/is a car guy so we went to the Labor day auction and ACD festival for as long as I can remember.
My inspiration to do sheet metal was brought on when I was 12 and Dad and I looked at an early '30s Auburn boattail in bare metal and the owner said he had a craftsman hand form a complete body for it. I told my Dad "that is what I want to do for a carreer". Well, here I am soon to be 50 and I am not sure if I am capable of a complete body but I am working that way.
I taught custom sheet metal fab at Wyotech, VC Tech, and just started a custom sheet metal class at Wiregrass Tech in Valdosta, GA along with teaching a collision class here.
I have attened a few Ron Covell Classes, 2 Mark Kennison classes, a Fay Butler class, and plan to take a Lazze class.
I can tell you all of these gentlemen are class acts and I feel very priveliged to have met them, their knwoledge is unbelieveable and they are very approachable.
I shaped 2 new rear fenders for my kustom 1936 Ford 5 window (my first car) along with running boards and skirts. They needed filler but I am very proud of them along with the rest of my car, it's no show winner but an everyday driver.
If any of you get down this way email or call I would happy to meet with you.
Clyde.

Welcome Cyyde, Am glad that you were able to stay in the South. We met at a Covell class while you were teaching in Birmingham.
I know that it is a long way from Valdosta to Huntsville, but if you get up this way, you are welcome.
Keep us posted on the projects in your classes. Dan
