new here from NC

Hey all, i just found this site and love it. I have an interest in learning more about metal shaping. I have done body work on muscle cars for some time now but i must admit I have been a "get it close and put the mud on it" guy. I would love to learn how to really get it right so any learning aids you can suggest would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard.

I don't mind body filler, it's when people think it's metal and can fill rat holes or when it is over 3/8'' deep.

You should look up shrinking disk's, it really helps me a lot.

You may want to start with this DVD. It will probably leave you with some questions. The author (David Gardiner) hangs out here and can answer any you may have about the DVD's content. There's a huge amount of experience here, you'll learn a bunch in a short period of time. Ask away!

Everyone here is on a first name basis -- it's a friendly place. Welcome to the forum..........
