I am a fabricator with a small shop doing restorations and hot rod work here in Taos, NM. Lived in Las Vegas, NV for 38 years working for EG&G Remote Sensing Laboratory and in the weapons programs. Currently building myself a 31 Model A on Deuce rails, flathead powered. I'll be chopping it 2 1/2" soon.
When I worked for EG&G, I was certified for unlimited thickness stainless nuclear submarine TIG and stick. I'm sure I don't see well enough to do that again.

Hello Bill,

I am building a 1928 Model A Ford, 351 Windsor Motor, Jaguar front and rear suspension and I built my own rails and chopped the top by 2 inches. I am hoping to start hanging the doors and repairing them this weekend and I am going to use a 1936 Terraplane Grill on it.
I am only just learning the art of Metal Shaping and liking it so far.
