Hello, I'm interested in all types of metal working but a master of none.. I see a lot of things in this forum that look really interesting . Getting to retirement age and will have time to spend on more projects. I'm sure I will need lots of advise.

Welcome to the forum Mike. Lot's of great experience and knowledge here (not me so much, but others.) Ask all the questions you like, people on her are really helpful. Be sure to include photos of what you are working on - makes answering questions a lot easier.
