Intro.

hello to all, My name is Randy and I go by my call sign, Ghostrider 67. I am a member of FBBO ( For B Bodies Only) a MOPAR car forum. I had asked a question about methods of rolling a bead in trunk floor sheet metal without a bead roller. One of our other members chimed in with a link to this site! It was for a thread describing how to do just that, and was very helpful indeed. I am a poor retired military guy and don't have deep pockets so I tend to do my own metal work, and everything else too. I am building the Yankee Express, a 1967 Dodge Coronet 500 street beast. I have extensively customized the body and wish I had known of this site long ago! The trunk floor is the last bit of metalwork on this car but I intend to look over this place a lot to see what else I can learn! Thanks for the forum and feel free to contact me.:D

Hi Randy, welcome! I am also a MOPAR enthusiast. I own a 1973 Chrysler Newport, that is my 'learn to do stuff' car. It's not cool, but then again, neither am I! :)

I can't help you with the trunk floor, but if you have metal work photos of your car, I would be interested to see them!

Welcome to the forum, Randy.

I grew up in Chelsea (family has there in the valley forever, long before it was VT) but now have a studio in SC after carving stone in Barre until 03. This forum is a great place. Hope you enjoy it.

Someone posted pics here a while back about a guy in the Philippines that did a floor pan for a VW Bus (?) with nothing but little more than a hammer, some odd corking tools and the ground.. If you're motivated, lots can be done for Yankee cheap.
