Intro from newbie in CT, USA

Hello all, my name is Dennis. I'm a father, husband & jack of all trades. If I'm not building a computer, I am tuning a car. If I'm not working on my house, I'm welding. If I'm not messing with electrical circuits, I'm making or repairing harness'. If I'm not wearing my carpenter's hat, I'm wearing my tinkerer's hat. Basically I was that kid that tore apart almost anything to see how it worked/in order to figure out how it functioned.

I've turned wrenches for over 20 years on diesel trucks & cars. During which time I've learned from others how to repair body damage, weld, fiberglass & repair automotive drive-ability issues. Now that I've started to dabble with fabricating more often, I would like to know as much as possible about metal shaping. Trying to learn with what tools I presently own as well is sometimes a challenge but not difficult. I'm not saying that I won't buy a tool....it just can't be a "one time use tool".

Welcome to the forum, Dennis.

Between people, projects, methods and info, there's lots of opportunities to be overwhelmed around here... Fun stuff.
