My name is Jon. I'm a moldmaker from Massachusetts. I operate a small repair/fabrication business from a shop in my front yard. The sheet metal fabrication skills I see and read about on various websites fascinates me. I've always tried to increase my knowledge through education. I have an affinity for hands-on learning and find the internet to be a vast resource for self-education.

Currently, I find myself obsessing about metal shaping in all its forms. Over the years I've been doing bodywork off and on to repair the junk my wife and I have occasionally been forced to own. But it lacks the finesse of the true restorer. I'm not sure where this new obsession will lead but it seems harmless enough.
