Seattle Scott

Hello All
I found this site by accident last night and signed right up. My metal pounding obsession was spawned in the mid 70s playing in my dads hot rod shop. By sixteen i had built my first car and have built numerous ones since. Within the past several years i have really started focusing more on the metal work as the fun part of the hobby and really dont care as much about the cars themselves. i look forward to exploring this site more catching up on the old news and following the current builds. The current projects in my garage are all early vw but i plan to step out into 20's-40's custom project next.

Welcome Scott. My story is very close to yours. If I didn't spend time in the shop growing up I wouldn't have gotten to know my Dad like I did. Those were great memories!! Your Dad still into the cars?

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I lost mine to cancer 1997. It's a tough hole to fill.
