Hello all!!

Hi,

I have been reading avidly through all the post here and loving the tips etc I've learned already.
My hobbies and intrests are cars (mainly Land ROvers and old Mini's) traction engines (building a 3" scale Burrel) and pretty much anything els that is mechanical!
Been working as fabricator for some time but just venturing into metal shapping. I'm waiting for my new workshop to arrive to go in the garden at a woping 5x4m! have been woring in a shed thats only 5'wide up till now lol.
Just finished going through Davids DVD and feel I've picked so much up already, the last job I did was much neater because of it.
Anyway just wanted to say hi and I hope you dont mind if I ask some dumb questions from time to time!!:o

Thanks chaps

Angus

Welcome aboard Angus!

I started out metalshaping in a 13'x8' workshop myself, so I know what it's like to use the available space as effectively as possible! I have a bigger shop now, but I still have a lot of fond memories of my original shop where it all started.
Traction engines...I still have a childish fascination with anything steam, and I'd like to scratch build a running steam engine one day.

Have fun around the forum Angus, and feel free to ask any questions you like.

Ken

Thanks for welcome chaps!
Just cant wait for the new workshop to get on with some serious work! have just about made my "stump" now and just need to weld up the frame, then see if my design for a workshop bench/cart will work out?

Thanks again guys:)
