New Member from the State of Oregon
 

Hi all, my name is Andre Mac. Some folks call me A-Mac. From Northern Oregon.


I have been wanting to join this forum for sometime. I'm excited to me here.


I want to restore an old Hot Rod and eventually build a car body from scratch.



I have been learning welding and fabrication, manual machining, and other parts of the restoration process over the past few years. Additionally the last year or two I have been collecting some of the metal shaping tools and setting up a work shop.


I am all ready to begin. I hope to get help and learn from you all. I also would love to connect with anyone locally. I hope to build some of my own machines as well so I will definitely need input.

Glad to hear of another Oregonian member. There are few people in the NW area that post keep a lookout for their projects pretty amazing stuff.

Hi all.

Will do!

I'm excited to get started this month. Saving up for some 3003 Aluminum sheet. Gonna get started with scrap steel.

I haven't quite found my niche in the building trades. I'm thinking this may be it as it requires a bit more finesse and creativity.
