New from Germany

Hi from Kaisersesch in Germany,

I´m 41 years old and I live near the "Nürburgring" which is known as a historical race circuit, right in the west of germany, just a few kilometers from Belgium and the Netherlands. As the rules here at allmetalshaping changed, I have to introduce myself and give you a taste of my bad english.
I´m new on metalshaping and it all started in 2007 when I saw an old Toyota Landcruiser for the first time. Three weeks later I owned one regardless of some rusty parts and strange humps that turned out later to be made from bondo ...
Wintertime 2007/2008 I wanted to give attention to some small rusty parts and the disaster started because I never worked on cars even more on sheetmetal! As usual small spots became real problems and it was hard work to finish the partial restauration until spring.
Working with sheetmetal often was pretty disappointing because in the absence of knowledge until Davids DVD enlightened me
Hope I can post some pictures later when I master the forumhandling.

Merry Christmas!
Götz

Gotz, Welcome and thanks for the introduction. There is nothing wrong with your English. Thanks for joining us. We would like to see some pictures of your project.

Morning,

thanks for your welcome.
Here is my "lifetime-project", a Landcruiser BJ45 from 1983. It has been in Africa an Australia the last 400.000 kilometers with previous owners.
