Hello from Huntsville, TX

I found this site through The Garage Journal. The last few years I had restored a 69 firebird convertible into to a pro-touring trans am custom. During the build I acquired new metal working tools, and welder so I'm relearning skills that had long ago withered away. This site is amazing with a wealth of knowledge and look forward to learning and hopefully contributing from my experiences.

Thanks, fellas, this car was my dream car when I was 16. I was a line mechanic in college during the early seventies and worked on these cars. 41 years later I finally got my trans am, although it's not an original. I couldn't afford one back then and I certainly couldn't afford a convertible trans am now, lol.

Now that my kids are out of the house and out of school I'm getting back into my first passion, which is working on cars. This site will help me get into the metal working part of auto restoration. Great site and a wealth of information here.
