I'm here!

Hi my name is Kris and I've been lurking here for a while. I guess it's time to register so I can see everything else. Been trying to do metal work for years with limited success. I'm sure this is the place to improve my skills.

Hi Kris, welcome to the site, the key to learning metalshaping in my opinion is to start with hand tools so you know the basics and build your skills as you go from there. The hand skills will always be needed.

Welcome Kris, As far as "trying to do metal work for years with limited success." I wish I was as limited as you,. Love your post and I can't wait to see your progress reports. Still would like to know the name of the material you used to mold the beads inside the fender well? They're lots of talented people here so ask any questions you come up with along the way to complete that sweet little roadster.
