Hi Everyone.!!
Hello everyone, My Name is Jack. I am an Aircraft sheetmetal worker , having been in the industry for 34 years, 30 years with a major airline, including 19 years teaching aircraft maintenance and repair. The last 4 years i have been building Wings from scratch (samples) for three WW2 USAAF P-47 Thunderbolts.
I have been a do it yourself vintage car restorer since 1985, with my main interest in 1931 -1932 chevrolets at the moment. Glad to have found this forum, and looking fwd to learning lots more from all you Folk. Thanks Jack |

welcome jack
do you own 1930 1931 chevrolets ?? like to see pics i have a chassis and in the future planning to build a roadster body for it allready tried one on scale |
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome, The great barrier reef is a fabulous place to see, as to my chevies, they are a group of chassis in a pile in my shed , with parts collected over the last 10 years to put together a 1932 tourer , and a 1931 (maybe a roadster ) but i will also have to make the rear quarter panels and trunk lid to complete it. I haven't ever made any repair panels that big, but there is always a first time for everything.
Cheers From Down under, Jack:) |
Welcome to the site Jack, sounds like you have a fair bit of experience. I would like to see some of your stuff.
