My name is Shelly and I am just starting the renovation of a 1962 Overlander Airstream. As such I have plenty of metalwork ahead of me including riveting, dent removal and custom fabrication of a chimney vent for the refrigerator.

I just signed up yesterday also. Maybe pick up some tips we hope!

How is the project going? We are seriously considering another trailer project. A 61' Tradewind double. Very original condition and a total restoration so it will be a huge job. We have this week to decide. Right now I am wavering from warm to cold on the final decision.

Is your metal vent project on the exterior or interior? I re-fashioned my interior vent and can send a few photos if you would like.
