New from Australia

Hello All

I came across this site whilst looking for forming tools and i'm glad I did. Alot of knowledge and experience here from what I have viewed so far.

I'm hoping to get into building patch panels then work up to forming up an entire car, probably a 35 Plymouth, as I have a couple but there is no metal left on them.

I've given myself 4 years to pick up this art so i'm hoping to learn as much as I can from you guys here as I don't know anyone in my area that even owns an English Wheel!

Also, if anyone hears of any seminars on Metal Forming in the Eastern States of Australia could you drop me a line.

Thanks

Whitey

Whitey, welcome and thanks for the introduction. There are a lot of Australians that are members here, maybe one lives in your area. Can you tell us where you are located? The information here will help you learn how to shape metal, if you have questions, ask and someone will try to help you. Thanks for joining us.

Thanks guys for the welcome.

I'm located in the central west of New South Wales, at the town of Parkes. About 400kms west of Sydney.

I've already got a few ideas from a few topics here which have been more than helpful. Looking forward to getting into it.
