Hello from Custom Performance by Roush
Hi everyone my name is Bob Roush. I recently took an awesome class from Craig Peterson at Dagger Tools and he recommended this site. It was my son, Cpl. Nicholas Ryan Roush's dream to build cars for a living after he served his country. He gave his last breath on the battlefield while providing for the freedoms we enjoy in this country. I intend to honor that by giving every last breath I have to becoming a premier car builder and making him proud. I am green but extremely motivated so be patient. I'm not sure if it's appropriate to ask on this site but I have an opportunity to purchase a used Fournier english wheel, does anyone have an opinion on the quality of these wheels?
Thanks, Bob |
Bob, welcome and thanks for the introduction. There is a lot of information here to help you learn how to shape sheet metal. If you have questions just ask and someone will help you. Thanks for joining us and thanks to your son for keeping us free.

Greetings Bob from another new guy in Jersey.

Welcome aboard
Not sure about that Wheel but it needs to be stiff. If you have the opportunity to look at it and it has a set of wheels, insert the the flat anvil or if he does not have it just use the axle in the lower cradle. Add moderate to high pressure and this happens it will tell you the frame is flimsy. look to see if the wheels go out of alignment. |
Thank You for your son's service.
