eager learner

im a 48 year old, happily married grandfather that is becoming obsessed with the idea of building a pedal car for his granddaughter. I am also an engineer by trade and I never seem to be able to just get lightly involved in hobbies, so it does not surprise my wife or friends that I am planning a hand fabricated pedal car. I do a bit of mig and tig welding, and woodworking. have done some body repairs on cars I am restoring, but the most involved I have gotten is to shape and fit replacement sheet metal (with hand tools) to replace rust damage. I am getting an english wheel for christmas from my amazing wife, and really looking forward to learning more about metal shaping.

I reside in Little Rock Arkansas.
