and yes, another new starter from the southern lands

hello to all
Mark is my name and I am from country Victoria, Australia.
Its funny how life takes you on roads to 'who knows where'... in my case: boy meets girl - girl has uncle with unfinished automotive project - boy buys said project, only to sit on it for 25 years or so draging it for one side of our great continent to the other and back again... well, I guess you've heard it all before: I decide to finaly make a start with a small budget , a smaller 'free time' allocation and an even smaller skills base.
Oh well, who said life was ment to be easy ??

So thats my story, short version, looking through the window that is google/youtube and i am just amazed at the quality and ability of metal work around the place, practical or crazy, artistic and beautiful, it is incredible what you do with a flat sheet of cold grey/silver metal.

Inspired into action, I try , and fail, only to try some more...

regards

Mark

this area is my first sheetmetal challenge. All the wood has been replaced with steel and I want to line the inside area behind where the seats will go.
You may notice the number on the inside of the panel - that is the date it was pulled apart for repairs but then stored- August 1961. I also have the windscreen with its last rego sticker

Are you going to chop it up or do a sympathetic resto style build?

markyouel 04-01-2012 05:34 PM

IFS/jag rear, 350/th700, low stance, hallock style windshield, patina - style paint, bucket seats, no roof, side pipes, no running boards...
