Danielle from Connecticut
Hey guys,
Name's Danielle and I live in Connecticut. I'm here to learn about exactly what this site talks about - shaping metal. I'm building a 1979 yamaha xs750sf into a bobber and want to learn some fabrication skills to make different metal components like side covers, fender struts, forward controls, etc. I don't know the first thing about metal fabrication but I didn't know a thing about building a bike either and I've been tackling that as well. I'd really like to learn about the process and possibly find some help as well. Anyways, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it! |
Welcome Danielle, Please show your progress on the yamaha as you progress.
I'm slowly working on a xs triple myself. I have made mine a rigid and started on a aluminum tank. I'm making slow progress due to working on too many other projects. |
Hi and welcome Danielle!:)

Mine is/was a 1977 SX750E. I will post up some pics when I get to the computer that they are stored on. Not much to look at yet, done with the frame and getting after the metalshaping part of the project.

HI Danielle welcome to the forum

I didn't want to clutter up your intro thread with my junk, so I created a new thread with some pictures of my Yamaha project.
