My Intro from South Africa

Hi Guys,

I've just joined up and would like to introduce myself;

My name is Gino and I am in South Africa, live in Pretoria and have worked for BMW South Africa as an Engineer for the past 24 years!

However, I have always had an interest in American cars; Hot Rods in particular and have been lucky enough to have owned a few.

Like most guys who work for a living, the 'old' project has to move on before the 'new' one takes it's place, and so I had to way goodbye to the '50 Merc, before welcoming the '34 Ford 5W.

I have developed a keen interest in metal-shaping/working over the past few years, and have scanned the Internet for information on the subject.

I also purchased some Tools from Williams Low-buck tools, and have since manufactured some parts for various cars.

It was for the above reason I found the allmetalshaping site, and hope to learn as much as I can from being a member:)!

Kind Regards

Hi and welcome Gino.

Sorry to hear the Merc left you, I have heard that the '34 is going to be pretty cool though....
