hello everyone!
just getting started on this site. looks pretty good so far. I have been in the car hobby for many years and have been playing around with metal shaping for projects for about the last 10 years.
recently built my own english wheel and have added a few attachments, which I also made. these include a tipping wheel, bead roller and what I call a shaper. this machine along with my planishing hammer, shot bag, anvils, etc. have enabled me to really create some interesting shapes. currently practising on this equipment before I start on my next project,a 1934 chev master 2 door. thinking about possibly changing it into a coupe.
not sure if I'm crazy or what but just a thought at this point.
Looking forward to posting some pictures once I get going. Got to get my house in order for my daughters' shower/wedding coming up first. probably sometime in 2013.

1935 chev coupe

well folks, iwas originally planning on turning a 2 door sedan into a coupe but as things go changes come along and can surprise the heck out of us. i came across a 1935 chev 3 window coupe (standard) on the internet and thought it don't hurt to ask if i can buy it. to my surprise my wife said sure! after picking my jaw up off the floor, i made contact with the seller and 2 weeks later the coupe was sitting in my garage. you couldn't have wiped the smile off my face with a baseball bat for about 2weeks.
the only dilemna now is what to do with the 1934 chev master sedan. as these two cars share little in common size wise i will most likely be selling the sedan and looking for standard fenders and running boards.
if anyone is interested send an email.or call 204-669-9665. getting real anxious to start on the coupe but need to get some stuff out of the way before hand.
