Incoming from Maryland...

Gents, I am a cloth shaper. I have been making protective products for aircraft for 30yrs .. misc. products for water sports .. and other distractions. I am working on a new product line where I need to form metal. Rather than farm it to Asia, I would prefer to do this in my shop. I hope to get a leg up by asking the right questions to the right people. Cheers.

Thanks David. I'll lurk thru the virtual book shelves to see if anybody is forming mesh. I have spent some time with plastic hammers and a shot bag but my ADD is not a complimentary trait.

David, I took a look at your DVD preview. I love the work you panel beaters do. 'Slapping' metal was always a head scratcher?! Nice that you put ear covers on the camera mike too. Cheers.

Hi Jim and welcome!:)

Jim, Forming mesh? do you mean perforated sheet? if so it will form in much the same way as sheet metal - just easier. Not so easy to shrink without deforming the holes. Editing the footage on the DVD so it is watchable was a huge task. Thanks for looking.

David
