Hello from So Cal
Hi fellow metal shapers! I'm an autobody and paint instructor at a local community college. I've been doing this type of work since 1976. I have my own shop in Buena Park ( Orange Co.) where I do sheetmetal restoration on antique motorcycles and cars. I've been in this location for the last 15 years, before that in Paramount and Montebello ( 2 Los Angeles suburbs ). I LOVE working sheetmetal! I find it relaxing even when it's killing me with a particularly difficult shape or problem. I tell my students that sheetmetal work is problem solving and you'll never be bored doing this type of work. It will challenge you daily! Nothing ever shapes exactly the same. ;)

Another person from so cal, welcome. Does the college teach just the standard autobody or it have your brought in the metal shaping aspect into it?
