I'm new here!

Hey, great site. My name is Mike, I am a flooring contractor from Erie,PA. I just followed a link here from another site. I am interested in learning what I can about working with metal, as I know very little about it.
I plan on starting on building my hot rod soon. I have a 27 ford phaeton body with the back half removed. So I have a two door tub. I want to fabricate a trunk so it looks like a roadster.
Talk to you later, mike.

David I will check out your build thread when I get home from work. Sounds awesome.
I am planning on just making mine back yard style. With some hammers and a wood buck.
Thanks for the welcome.

I'm all for shaping with hand tools. I guess you are making this in steel? I think you will still find my thread helpful. Lots of stuff done with hand tools on my '27 build. You will need to make some 'Bun' panels as well.
