I'm in the middle of restoring a 1971 Mustang convertible. Unibodies rust from the inside out. This is my first attempt at metal and body work. Many patch panels are available, but not everything I need. I have to shape my own patch panels for some areas. And of course even the premade ones always need work to fit. My metal shaping and welding skills could use some improving, so I'm hoping to glean a lot here, as this is not the only car setting around patiently waiting on bodywork and paint.

As everyone else says welcome (your name). Most of the guys here are on a first name basis.

You all may know each other, but I don't. Getting slapped around on my introductory post, am I? Hmmm.

Welcome, insert real name here. Glad to have you as a new member, thanks for joining us. This is a craft that requires a lot of time to learn but if you are willing to make some scrap you will become better with each panel you make.
