Hi All,

As newbie as it gets. Bored with woodworking and getting near that empty nest. Time to start reinvesting my time. Can't wait to get busy in the shop.

Just started my first project, 01 PT cruiser that the kids won't drive cause its a stick. So off with the roof. Hope to make a small pickup. Not looking for show car quality but more towards a down and dirty DIY. Im bound to learn alot as there should be plenty of mistakes. :o

Welcome, sounds like a neat project. I made a Pinto Pickup truck from a Pinto Wagon in college, never got it totally finished but learned a bunch in the process. Saw one just the other day in Colorado I'd like to save, I loved that car. I'd love to see pictures of your Cruiser..

On a related note a good buddy calls the jeep he bought from me Bam Bam. :D
