Hi all,

It doesn't sound just right to say new guy, but I did think I'd let you know I have joined the site. I know most of you. The ones I don't know I will get to know you.

I started with Metalshapers at their begining, followed Wray to the Metalmeet site and I've now joined up here. I haven't abandoned MM and am still going to do what I can to insure it's success. The concept of the national metal meet and the regional meets is valid and needs to be continued in my opinion.

Jim and I shared a room at the first MetalMeet in '03. My wife said, "you don't know this guy from Adam but you're going to stay in a room with him for a week?" :lol::lol:

Worked out fine and we've been friends ever since.

Btw, we haven't given up on MetalMeet either.

I could not agree more with that statement. I've never made it to a regional meet but the national has been Great. I missed the Last 2 Years and want to let guys know that won't be happening again. This is a Year of Changes for me, and it's time to get back on track. Lifes to short not to follow your Dreams.

I first met Jim at MM04 and have considered him a friend since then!

We haven't given up on MM either (if I can speak for the AllMetalShaping Operations Team). It isn't a case of 'either/or" or "instead of", but more like "in addition to". We just try to keep things less chatty and we have a place for that so things don't clog up the main board.
