Thanks Joe. I tried laying it on my welding table and using a dead blow hammer to pound down the tucks.
Evidently, I had the right idea, but wrong technique.

I can't imagine stretching the other side could "fix" it. The metal is held by the edges of the panel. Without the ability to spread out, it's basically enlarging the area...
