Thanks for the warm welcome. We’ve all done some “bodywork” after a few too many beers. I have a story about body working with a claw hammer, a crescent wrench, and a stick. Turned out pretty well, but that is a story for another day.
It isn’t so much that I hate plastic filler, it is just that I prefer prudent use of it. I am not good enough to metal finish a car... not even anywhere near close to that... so I rely on it as well. It is fine to use it as a bit of a crutch, but not to rely on it being a metal man in a can.
I’d love to participate in a PNW class, we should look into that more!
