Newbie to allmetalshaping
This is Gary in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I volunteer in the restoration shop at the Air Zoo, where we are currently working on two WWII navy aircraft recovered from Lake Michigan. Our Douglas Dauntless (SBD-2) is nearing completion and the Grumman Wildcat (FFM-2) will take a while longer. While we have a straightforward process for fabricating most sheet metal parts, I'd like to learn more about shaping complex curved panels and fairings. We've learned a lot through trial and error and look forward to refining and expanding our capabilities.
