Two years ago i decided to build a very light weight / low/ wide all aluminum monocoque and bulkhead street legal car, here in my shop. Once it was road tested as a bare frame, i cut and rolled thin aluminum sheets into a body. Lulu weighs in at 1530 lbs x 325 HP with a GM LTG DOHC Turbo 4. Simple rolled body.

During COVID I’ve been building a single seat very light weight chassis that I will need an English Wheel to make a proper body, over the purlins. Lu2 has a BMW K1600B MC engine at 160 HP and she weighs 850# currently. Lower, longer WB and as wide, I expect she will be a fun driver. She deserves a voluptuous compound curved body.

I’m looking at a few English Wheels in both cast and fabricated formats. Any advice on upper adjusters vs lower adjusters or cast vs fabricated? I don't need a big machine, as the work is all small panels.
