Hi, I'm Andrew. I live in St Paul, MN, and I'm new to metal shaping. I have a 1955 Ford Thunderbird that needs a fair amount of metal work done, and I've decided to give it a go myself. This forum seems to have a ton of knowledge I could learn from. I'm hoping to learn more about tig welding, making patch panels, and metal shaping in general. Plus seeing all the amazing stuff everybody else is working on is great for keeping my motivation up.

Unrelated to my intro: I tried joining once already but ran into trouble. It seems like Gmail doesn't accept emails from this site. When I updated my email address to a different service, I was able to receive the 'verify your new address' email fine, and once I clicked that link I was able to post an introduction. However, by that point my account was more than a week old and I hadn't made an introduction yet, so it got deleted. I just wanted to mention it since I'm probably not the only person running into this problem.
