thanks for all the above guys. I already started looking around for some cut down tree stumps

, that will be my 1st "tool" . Dont mind spending a little bit of money to get started.Im a firm believer in you get what you pay for, and you need the right tool to get the job done correctly. Im already excited to see what tools you can make are you own by all the searches I have already done pertaining to this area .This is one of my weak points, I tend to just buy instead of creating, thus , wanting to try to make some motorycle related parts. Im really more of a visual person so my 1st purchase will most likely by Davids metalshaping zone DVD. Im especailly interested in the motorcycle tank part. I already read almost evey post from JHNarial, this is the exact type of stuff Im wanting to learn and he has a great way of explaining and showing stuff, with out having to use the higher end tools and machines. This is picture of the bike I finished up, tank , fender were a purchase. Oil tank was welded up by someone else, but now I have my tig so Im good to go in that area on all new projects. Now to get in the garage and start hammering on some scrap. I was going tomakea FSP of the tank I have on there and try my hand at that

.I know this a huge task for a new B . Any feedback on maybe some other smaller project that you think is good for a new b,maybejust start out by seeing what metaldoes when "shrunk"and stretched" Im all ears guys
