Welcome to AllMetalShaping Fernando. First off, are you a member of the Imperial Mailing List? http://www.imperialclub.com Tons of great info there.

I got into metal shaping because I had to learn to make patch panels for my old Imperials (three 61's and some others...all for sale) I used to be very active on the IML and wrote a bunch of tech articles in the body section and restoration sagas. I'm very familiar with the problems you describe. Lower rear quarters shot too?
