At J&L, get Louie to teach you all he can about welding technique. He used to be one of the best around. Also talk to him and Dan about the wheelchair racers for the Olympians they built 20+ years ago -- most people forget they were involved with those.
Also if you get a chance during lunch hour or immediately after work, head over to Butch's shop on a regular basis for one major project that will be worth watching and you will have interest in. (sorry -- no pics online until post Pebble Beach)
