Hello everyone, i'm Bruno from Portugal, i'm currently restoring an Ford Capri 3000 GT from 1970, in the states it was sold as Mercury Capri and it did has some good fans over there as well!
I bought the car believing it was a good deal but as generally happens it was a "pretty box" over a pile of rust, bad repairs and allot of filler...

sucks because i paid the car what it would worth if it was in a good shape so it wasn't the case "deal of the century..."
Well since im a guy that likes to have a good hobby and a DIY as much as i can, (is this case it wasnt really an option

) im restoring the capri myself and trying to avoid buying parts of the shelf since they are expensive and i already spent to much on the car... so instead im slowly buying the tools that will allow me to make as the parts and repairs necessary because here the economy (as pretty much elsewhere...) sucks for a long time... making the parts, the body shop, gas prices... etc cost prohibitive!
So i hope i can learn allot from you and maybe in remote possibility can teach something ( that would be the day i know

)
I already did some parts that i would love to show even though they are not a beauty, im proud of them
PS- Sorry for any possible writing error's ill try keep then minimum
Thank you in advance
Bruno Rodrigues
