OK, BUT... they are not really metal crafting...Yet! That's the next itch that needs to be scratched!
Here is my model engine design I'm slowly picking away at. Its based on a Kinner B5. A real one exists in a local aero-museum & I managed to order some documentation out of USA. It's probably biting off way more than I can chew, but.. I'm going to try anyway. As you can see, its a cad 'pipe dream' right now, but even getting this far was fun. I subscribe to some miniature engine forums for similar inspiration. On top of getting proficient on lathe & mill, I figure I will need to mess with welding, brazing & silver soldering here & there. Thats kind of how I stumbled into this nice forum. So you will receive a fair share of dumb questions.
