On one end this is a very sad situation, and also a hard one, on the other side you have many that have prepaid, and I am sure the money is not the issue ITS THE KNOWLEDGE that is wanted from this series of books that TIM Took a life time of notes and information digging, inquiries to companies, metalshapers, trips to take photos etc. just to write these books, to get this hidden information in print so future generations had some type of a reference library to go to.

I wholly understand, John. I/we are also being very respectful, while holding off customers with our gold pitchfork until we can get a shipment in. I'll be sure to post when that happens, since we are in Kalifornya and a ways North of them and may just get our load quicker than, say some one in Bangor, Maine.

I can say that I liked the damascening section and was glad that he did not leak the recipe that I still use. I was also very glad that he knew Bunny Phillips, as that answered the question about the hand -scraped Typ57 SC engine I built up a car around back in the day. It had the best scrape-job I have ever seen on any engine, anywhere bar none. And no beans were spilt on that one, neither. The secret is still safe, so far.
yeehaw.
