i am ready to start the outer panels now, i have had a couple of attempts at a 1/4 panel and got better with each try. i called in to see peter tommasini and ask for advise as although its not bad i know it could be better!

i had trouble with doing the top piece in one go so i cut it and tig'd it together. although its not too bad peter did give me some good advice and a few tips using the wheel.

so i left peter's on saturday and headed for the workshop to have another go, this time moving the weld joint to a more suitable place and doing the top piece in one go...

so i marked off where it would roughly join...
