Here is the latest progress on my buck.

All the stations are in place. I still have a few fine adjustments to make. I also need to put in some cross bracing to ensure they can't shift. I have a design for the sandwich plate. I just need to purchase the aluminium. I have also had a trial run making the panel for the sill. I made a few mistakes but it wasn't a bad learning exercise and it feels good to finally be shaping metal.
