The next move is to assemble the cab, deck and front end on a half ton chassis I acquired from a friend. The purpose of this is to ascertain the wheelbase length so I can set up the XJ6 jaguar front and rear suspension and the new restyled front sheet metal. After the cab was mounted, I assembled my brothers old deck and threw it on, as well as these mudguards I had lying around. I settled on the deck top being in line with the beltline. The running board will have a small return below the door. This will, in effect, give me my bottom door gap.
