Thanks guys.
On the casting site I belong to there are some advanced 3D modelers. It seems like it would be a viable manufacturing method if they can get the strength. The headgear is readily available for welding helmets, the strapped unigoggles appear to be the same dimension and the spring housing could be made from aluminum, so just the arm is left to make.
I had good luck with super glue repairing the broken arm and added some reinforcement, so I'll see if that repair lasts. Plus it may be the pattern for injection molding.
I need to work on my other projects.
