Default I have some tools and waana know what to do next.

I am located in Richmond VA. Computer Guy.
Bought a couple of things.
I have a di-acro squaring shear, a di-acro metal break, one of those harbor freight throatless shear and a mig welder. Now I wish to make stuff! SO far I have welded in a patch panel for an old mercedes I own. Shaped it myself and it is terrible.
So I have a few questions and this seems like a good place to start. Hi!

Welcome Ted! I'm a couple of hours north west of you in Southern MD. I'd say to post up some pictures of your results, as terrible as they may seem, and you'll get some good feedback on ways to improve your methods..

Hi Ted welcome to the forum

The best thing I can suggest is to learn the basics on metalshaping and practice with hand tools first, then go on with your machinery.
There is a lot of people in this forum that can help you with your question
