Default New Guy from Texas

I'm a West Texas guy and I've spent my life building hotrods and drag cars. I'm retired and I hang around in my shop here at home. I do not do any work for the public, only on my cars. I'm teaching my 14 year old the building skills I have. I am very weak in the Metal shaping department so I'm hoping this form will help both my grandson and myself. He is already stick welding, body shop stich type welding and now he is learning TIG welding. He is picking up on painting faster than I expected. He and I have done some Engine work together including a 1956 Chrysler Firepower Hemi project car and old style Gasser. I do old school because that is all I know. I expect him to go to a higher level. He calls my 40 Ford Coupe, his. Well probably so some day. It is next on the list to be redone.

His class room is here:

My cars I've owned and built here:
