Default My introduction post

Hi everybody,
My name is Tim, most people call me Custom. I've been shaping metal for years and it's always junk, whether it's on a $250k car or toy for the kids. I work in the HVAC industry in Tucson Arizona during the day and work on cars at night. Mostly paint and bodywork, but we get into everything, from twin turbo big block trucks to stock Camry bumper replacements. Built my first car (69 Camaro) at 16, been at it for over twenty years. I like fixing things with metal, I enjoy building panels on the power hammer and smoothing with the wheel, quite proficient with the shrinker stretcher. A kid came by last night mesmerized by the big tools, he had a wadded up quarter panel on his newer honda, so I had to show off and make a patch panel by hand and weld it in real quick, he was shocked and so exited, he wants to play now, trying to pass on some knowledge for the next generation. Although I'm not finished learning yet, I probably learn something new every day, or relearn something I've forgotten. If anyone has any questions about who I am or what I'm all about, just ask. Thanks Custom.
