Default Greetings from Connecticut!

Hello all-

I'm recently retired and lucky enough to be healthy. I have moderate to strong skills in all residential construction trades, and very competent at auto mechanicals. My username reflects my hobby car, a massaged Buick Roadmaster Wagon. I know, sounds so weird.

Metalworking is a huge weakness for me - shaping or machining - and I want to address that by learning from folks with skills and willingness to share.

I look forward to contributing if/when my knowledge is relevant.

Hi Jay and welcome.

Everyone had a huge weakness in metal shaping at one time or another. It takes patients and practice, something that you will enjoy as long as you don't get yourself to frustrated.
There is more than enough help on here to get you through most problems and trouble issues, if you encounter any and If not, then see if there is a metal shapers meet nearby. Sometimes you maybe lucky enough to have a few going on.

Cheers John

Thank you for the welcome, gents!

And John, I see you have a Holden in your sig.

All members of the 1994-96 GM B-body community here in the states (Roadmaster, Caprice, Impala) know that our vehicles got their start in Australia with the Holden.
