G'day folks,
My name is Matt Austin, and I live in a small town named Junee, hallfway between Melbourne and Sydney. I've been involved with aviation preservation since the 1980s, and am keen to learn more. I'd love to find and restore a 1946 Dodge styleside ute. I'm looking forward to learning more. Cheers, Matt

Thanks, folks. After losing my login details, I've finally reactivated my membership, so I can do more than lurk!
Since joining, I've picked up a couple of interesting old vehicles. First is a 1942 Australian-assembled International K5 truck, as used by the Army here. It belonged to a farmer, who was happy for it to go to a good home. Second is a 1940 Aussie-bodied Chevrolet sedan, which is also ex-military. I'd like to return it to its staff-car configuration. So, plenty of work ahead. Both vehicles are straight and have very little corrosion, so that's a start. Cheers, Matt 020.jpg FB_IMG_1469320601653.jpg
